  people tell me all sorts of different opinions.

  i seem to feel a constant feeling of dread and anxiety.

  Ask your parents if they can get a therapist for you. If not try some way of getting one. Don't tell your parents about your doubts just the therapist.

  Whatever you do, don't sacrifice yourself. That will only give a victory to the Watchtower.

  Anita Bryant was an isolated flash in the pan 40 years ago before conservatism evolved into the monstrosity it now is. Kim Davis is the tip of the iceberg of a much, much stronger and vociferous conservative movement that has major political clout.

  I come to my conclusions based on the videos that rightwingwatch.org posts daily which downloads videos of Right Wing Christians talking. I've been following the antics and sociopathic talk of the conservative movement on that site and I could tell you it's massive. I've downloaded almost 1,200 videos from those psychos in the past 5 years and over half of them are on the gay issue. It is most of what they talk about dedicating what must be 60% or more of their statements in general. Their psychoses with gay issues outnumbers their statements on abortion, Obama, Muslims, immigration, etc..

  It's demonization at the same level as Hitler's scapegoating of the Jews and it could lead to similar consequences in a not too distant future if they were to have full control. Even if that were not to happen their inflammatory rhetoric inspires mentally unstable people to acts of violence.

  I suggest that posters here give 10 minutes of their daily time to viewing rightwingwatch.org after 3:00 PM which is when their list is closed for the day. From time to time you'll find calls for imprisonment of gays or outright genocide, claims that gays want to murder and imprison "Christians" (i.e. Fundamentalists). After doing that for a few months you'll get the idea of where I'm coming from.

  Never, ever underestimate them.

  I beg to differ. Her immediate popularity might wane, particularly in the media, but she will be remembered by conservatives due to the extreme "sacrifice" she made. They have long memories and those who go to extremes instead of just talking sh!t are well remembered.

  But if that other child is not a Witness then she should not be associating with them. If that child was a Witness then they would have had to have done the same thing in being generous to "Jehovah" who takes precedence over anyone else.

  what is it about some of these self proclaimed "christians" who go seeking persecution when it don't exist?.

  we've had a case locally in calgary where the initial reports sounded like the person had a legitimate claim: a bus driver didn't want to drive the bus in a gay pride parade and said he'd resign if they made him and that the local transit company was threatening him to force him to do it.. except it was all invented ... by him !.

  they already proactively told him that there was no danger that he would be asked to drive that bus in the parade (i.e.

  Rattigan, the 14th Amendment in its literal reading would support the rights of women voting but, since the Supreme Court did not acknowledge that, a separate amendment was enacted to circumvent their decision. They basically ran around the judges knowing they would not have made the proper decision.

  as a true believer in the watchtower, i never knew how truly boring i was until being out for a couple of years and then sitting down with a group of jws and having a conversation..

  thats what happened this morning.

  i decided to go have breakfast at mcdonalds and a group of jws who were out in service and know me also stopped for breakfast and sat down with me and we talked for about an hour.

  while many think that the ruling is good for the gays and their response is: how does that affect your marriage; then on the other side the religious people cry god and sinners.

  but both are missing the forest through the trees.. the problem with the ruling is that which is discussed here so many times.

  five unelected federal officials decided on policy for the whole country, running roughshod over every democratic principle.
